I've noticed issues with GetCursorType when the control key is hold down; this could be reproduced using SMath TextRegion hyperlinks.
When links are not in the reference book, the pointer flickers betwwen the hand pointer and the arrow pointer if the mouse moves, or is shown as arrow if mouse doesn't moves. All seems works fine just if links are in the reference book.
