In the table region you can open the settings dialog by doubleclick to the active area (with the resize tags attached).
After closing the settings dialog, the behaviour is different, depending on if you changed something in the settings or not:
If you changed nothing, then you can again open the settings dialog by doubleclick
If you changed something (say, number format), then doubleclick triggers recalculation. In order to again change settings, you have to leave and re-activate the region.
This is annoying if you need to play around with the settings (an Apply button would help, but that would be a separate feature request ;-)
