Description
provide a context menu choice for the file format (png or svg). This choice is available as long as the image has not been created. After that it might just display the actual format.

Thank you, Martin, for opening this request.
Main purpose of this request is to be able to choose a vector format as a empty file for the image region.
There are at least two opensource vector editors that open very fast and can extend sketching capabilities of Smath Studio - "Dia" and "Libre Office Draw". Both applications have a native format different from svg; however both can export to svg and open svg files (Libre Office migh have better compatibility in this regard). I see this feature working following way:
1. Select svg in smath
2. Open svg (I am likely to use Dia)
3. Edit
4. Export svg (export command will automatically take you to the folder where opened svg is so you can easily overwrite it)
5. Sketch is done! you can open it later for easy editing.
Thank you,
Alex
