Currently, the units for columns or rows can be specified using the unit summary. The display of the summary suffers from two problems:
-
no math formatting
-
no preservation of the unit specified by the user (the simplified version is stored
Current workaround is to extend the header or stub with a units column or row containing strings with "S:..." and at the same time suppressing the units summary display. The disadvantage is that it is entirely up to the user's good luck that displayed units are the same units as those in the summary, i.e. that displayed units and displayed values are consistent.
The first issue could be fixed by internally prefixing the text string by S:, the second issue could be fixed, if you allow the specification of the unit summary using the line operator. Then the specified units are conveyed verbatim to the definition and thus to the table region.
