When you want to drag the resizer in matrix display (ellipsis character) then the required distance is driven by the first column and not by the right one (for size reduction) or the first hidden one (if you want to increase the size).
This feels like the handle isn't responsive in the following example. The size will only change if you drag the mouse by the width of the first column.
