[Maxima] Draw2D not working

 Description

I fail to plot any function using the Maxima Draw2d function. I use Windows with Smath Studio Desktop 0.99 build 7579. Could you at least provide a demo file? Even the first example in the german handbook fails, see attachment image. Is it because explicit is not recognised as a function? Is that part of another plugin?

You can paste images directly into the editor, this makes the posts easier to read.

You mixed two ways to plot. Either use Draw2D() and an Image region or use a Maxima Draw region and submit just the commands. The Draw regions can be dynamically manipulated using the mouse, the Image region can't.

The Draw function returns a string with the filename where the image is stored. This is just the input the image region needs. The Maxima Draw region needs a list of draw commands as input.
