Don't get greedy for coins. Yes, those shiny coins are tempting. But jumping into traffic to grab one usually gets you flattened. Staying alive always comes first.
Listen for the train warning. Before a train screams through, the game gives you a dinging bell sound and a flashing light on the side. Hear that? Stop moving and wait.
