 Description

Been running display campaigns on Amazon for a few months now and noticed a huge gap between brands that get results and those that just burn budget. Most of the time it comes down to one thing: creative quality.

Amazon's ad placements are competitive, and generic static visuals simply don't cut through anymore. I started investing in properly produced amazon banner ads — animated, correctly sized, platform-compliant — and the difference in CTR was noticeable almost immediately.

A few things I've learned along the way:

— File weight matters more than most people think. Heavy banners load slowly and get skipped.

— Sizes like 300x250 and 728x90 still dominate performance on desktop, but mobile formats are catching up fast.

— Motion draws attention, but only when it's purposeful — flashy for the sake of flashy actually hurts conversions.

Curious whether anyone else here has experimented with rich media or interactive formats on Amazon placements. Is it worth the extra production effort or do simple animated ads still do the heavy lifting?
