Maximize and Minimize are the peak point of slope. You can find it yourself by taking derivative of corresponding equation. Solving it should give you the minimum or maximum point of that equation.

As you can see here minimize and maximize functions are actually same. This demonstation is prepared with just solver roots(). You can find other solver examples within other example file.
roots() is suitable if there are no units. In some cases you need to enter a guess value.
Sometimes you will need to use other solvers too.
Plot the equation, if there is a slope guess a peak point value. Take derivative of equation and try to solve it.
