How to recreate "overlord's" CFL with Radio Buttons

To define the variable name "source"

to the left… type source :=

Then click Matrix icon on screen right

Then define the maxtix to be 2x3

Then replace each place holder as shown

Note: "source" defines the labels

that appear by each Radio Button.

Could alternately use a 1x3 matrix

and include either the 1stcolumn

of "source" or the 2nd column

To create the Radio Buttons...

Click: Insert > Controls > Radio Buttons

Set Source = source

Set Columns = 1

Output = Items Index

Note: Setting the Source = source

will cause 3 Radio Buttons to appear as

there are 3 rows defined above in "source."

Note: Setting "columns=1

will label the Radio Buttons

with the text in column 1

of "source" above.

Setting columns=2 will use

the text from column 2

in "source above

To create the Conditionally Formatted Label

to the left... Follow the step by step

instructions below

To get this ... Click: Insert > Contros > Formatted Label

To get this… Click on the first place holder above and then

Click: Insert > Functions > Programming > cases

To get this… Click: on a place holder & double click the comma key

To get this… click on first placeholder on the left

Then click "matrix" in the side panel

and set it to 1x3

Repeat for row 2 and for row 3.

Then fill in each place holder as shown

 

And "ka-boom" you're donw!
