On some computers, the attached file can't be saved, because SMath crashes. As stated in the forum the issue seems related with the memory handling.

Thank you, Davide!
Issue is fixed, so closing this ticket...
(Behind the scene we contacted by Skype, tested several possible fixes and finally found a reason and a proper solution. Next SMath Studio version will have no such a bug.)

Here you have the requested info:

Please could you press Debug button on the error dialog and make a screenshot for Call stack in Visual Studio?
Also please provide a result of the following command from cmd: SMathStudio_Desktop.exe -s -i
Thanks in advance!

Still experience the bug, same exception thrown in the JIT.
No problem about testing more and more... hope you'll find a solution :)

I figured out why it happened. Please could you test another version: http://smath.info/file/hPxpa?
I'm sorry for interrupting you, but I can't replicate issue on my environment. You are my only chance to check we have positive trend here :)

I can still reproduce it... seems even easier to trigger than before :(
Got this from the JIT debugger:
System.InvalidOperationException unhandled exception.
Message: unandled exception of type 'System.InvalidOperationException' in System.Drawing.dll
Further informations: object is currently in use elsewhere

Please, could you check again with the following build: http://smath.info/file/G6asr. I've found wrong memory usage when working with images on file saving and did fix it.

Seems fixed here. I can still notice the bug in a big file (approx 10 Mb). Now it appears randomly (very rare, but I've noticed it at least 3 times, opening the file, waiting for calculation and then saving it with "save as")
Moreover, seems that if we save the file while it is being processed, it restarts the processing and become very slow (worksheet processed in 2 seconds on opening, stopped manually after 2 minutes of calculations)

Can't reproduce with http://en.smath.info/forum/yaf_postst7392_RC5--SMath-Studio-0-98-5928--25-March-2016.aspx anymore.

Reproduced. Thank you!
