Design of Reinforced Concrete Sections - Brazilian standard NBR 6118:2014 - Messages
#1 Posted: 3/24/2022 2:27:56 PM
Hey guys,
I developed this small application for the design of reinforced concrete sections in accordance with the brazilian standard NBR 6118:2014, using smath studio and smath viewer :d
Is able to:
Geometry
- Slabs
- Beam (Rectangle, Tee, reverse Tee)
Ultimate limit states:
- Bending without axial force (yet!) (Positive and negative bending)
- Shear (Models I or II)
- Torsion
Service limit states:
- Cracking
- Deformations
Detailing rules
- Lapped joints
- Anchorage
- Bar spacing
Suggestions and corrections are welcome!
06/04/2022 Edit:
New version of script with some corrections:
- Licence (CC BY-SA 4.0)
- Geometry module is rebuilt with Davide Carpi script PolyProperties (Thank's Davide! I made the correct citation, ok?)
- Some corrections: (Double reinforcement for bending, lateral reinforcement with NBR limit's, warning for maximum reinforced reached);
- VRd1 correction, add VRd,c from Eurocode due to scale effect
- Cracking (Now is possible to check group or individual bars)
- Some nomenclature corrections
07/04/2022 Edit:
- Effective depth
11/04/2022 Edit:
- I Section
- Fatigue design for longitudinal and transverse reinforcement
- Minimum reinforcement for each type of element (beam / slab)
- VRd1 (Correction)
- Aesthetic corrections
20/04/2022 Edit
- Included the option nothing in rebar
- Used Area Region to organize the code
- Correction in fctd formula
- he selection for torsion
23/04/2022
- Text revised
DIMIS_stable_207.sm (695 KiB) downloaded 241 time(s).

Hey guys,
I made a "refactoring" in the code and some bug fixes.
- The worksheet is now able to receive new sections.
- Fixed the alpha for service limit states.
I forget to upload the .sm archive in the last post.

Not my cup of tea ! Confirmed works down SS 6179.
I learned numerical maths from F.B. Hildebrand

Confirmed: NO red top to bottom SS 6179.
In other words: good native codes.
