I understand what you are trying to do, but useless on two counts:
1. Soon, the symbolic expansion is not manageable, especially on cheap calculators.
2. Those things solve from universal solvers, very fast [revisit the recent Tridiagonal].

A 2x2 system is OK
A 3x3 almost not possible. Mathcad wrapping not easy.
A 4x4 ... forget it, Mathcad can't expand, above work sheet capacity.
