Hello everyone.

I´m new to the program and I was trying to create a reinforced concrete column design sheet and encountered this problem. I want to create a matrix that describes the area of reinforcement from the diameter matrix. I just need to apply the basic area of a circle

A= pi * (d^2)/4

The problem is that i cant get it done and dont know why.

Here is the sheet. I hope someone could give me a hand.

Thank you and excuse my english.
Arturo.

Hola Arturo. No puedes vectorizar directamente si hay más de una matriz en los argumentos. Para que SMath "olvide" la forma en que se construyó d.barras puedes usar d.barras:eval(d.barras) y de esa forma ya se puede vectorizar.

Hi Arturo. You cannot vectorize directly if there is more than one array in the arguments. To make SMath "forget" the way d.barras was built you can use d.barras:eval(d.barras) and that way it can be vectorized.

On advanced projects, you may consider algo style(s).
