Hi, i'd like to be able to change spacing between columns in a matrix. My current view is like shown below and it is not very readable.

Is there any way to improve it? What about an ability to add some horizontal/vertical grid?

Matrix formatting is through the Davide's plugin.
It is not possible to do something directly ...or you need to start to convert numbers in string add the spacing and so on to improve just the formatting but you have no more numbers but string .. it doesn't look a practical idea .

Best regards

For display (not for input) you can use the Table Region plugin. Otherwise just generate the input as separate columns and make the matrix using augment() afterwards. This has the advantage of better control on units per column.

What would that do ? Use Excel instead.
Under the hood, a matrix is a one col vector.
Personally, no need for freaked matrix.

Lightly shaded columns might be visually effective. Probably one of those "easy to say - 3 days coding to do" things.

[Personally, I'm working on an auto-complete combobox, and its taken 3 days so far, and I'm nowhere near satisfied with it]
