Hi

  1. You can have three, sometimes is just useful having more to group blocks of codes (f.e. to test different sub-routines swapping a piece of a function instead of using different functions);
  2. because superscript in variables it was never implemented (would be nice, though);
  3. there is a hardcoded algorithm that shows automatically parenthesis in certain cases, to help the user to avoid confusion in reading operators order. It is a tricky balance, sometimes it might be too greedy, sometimes you wish it would have been triggered automatically before loosing half an hour looking for the source of a wroong calculation)

This is using Ctrl+Shift+K and Unicode super and sub-script characters.

I cannot using Ctrl+Shift+K! Why?

Hi. You have to start typing the variable first, and then use Ctrl+Shift+K, which should make the cursor turn red.

By the way, reviewing the ISO 80000 standard I think that the correct way to write the ion is with two '--', not with '2-'
