Recurring activation problem - For the nth time, I cannot activate SMATH. - Messages

This is a recurring problem that is making SMATH unusable to me. Again, I cannot activate SMATH today. It thinks I am using my old ID= Reg76. I have not used that in years. My ID has been curryreg@gmail.com for a few years now. SMATH activation does not recognize me now for the nth time. I need the the activation to be my account ID and I need the activation PW to be the PW for my account under that ID.
I tire of having to create a new password to use SMATH every few weeks.
IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT.
PLEASE FIX YOU SYSTEM!

Hello, Reg Curry.
I'm really sorry you have this issues.
I just checked everything and here is a summary:
- You had two profiles using one email: on the main SMath Web and on the SMath Forum (previously it was two different software with their own profile databases);
- We have several issues with previous Forum engine so we had to decide to write our own Forum engine based on data collected last 15+ years, more about it: https://smath.com/en-US/forum/topic/u2h9Y/Forum-Interface;
- In the process of new Forum deployment we merged user accounts by email because it is just impossible for one user two have different accounts based on single email;
- You main Web and Forum accounts were merged too. No data lost.
If you want to change your account please use your profile: https://smath.com/en-US/security/profile.
From your comment I do not actually understand what do you like me to change. You do not need to create new password every few weeks - just remember your password and use it to update cookies - system will ask you to repeat login (currently this is required to do every three Months for security reasons). If you are using many different devices and/or browsers you may need to log in separately on every single one - this is technical requirement.
If you cannot change anything please just let me know by PM - I will assist asap.
Will be restored soon. Sorry for the inconveniences.
Best regards, Andrey Ivashov.

Thanks for the prompt response.
I did have to change my password to activate my SMATH. Luckily, it allowed me to change it to the existing password. My account looks correct; however, the email with the code to change the password addressed me by my old forum name of Reg76 even though my account name is RegRetired.
It's all working, but I did have to restore my access by changing my password.
Thanks,
Reg

Hello.
As I already mentioned in PM your login was changed to the one used in previous version of the Forum.
Fill free to let me know if there is anything else I could assist with.
Best regards.
