I have recently installed SMath Studio on my PC running Linux Mint 17.2 with Cinamon 2.6. I also installed Mono-complete version 3.2.8+dfsg-4ubuntu1.1. SMath opens OK and I can open example files and do most functions, however the program does not seem to allow paste operations. For example when I try to paste an expression that I have copied to the clipboard I get a text box for exiting the program: "save changes to filname.sm" and all options result in a crash. There are also some other odd features when using copy and paste.
Any advise on how to check my installation and rectify this would be much appreciated. I am a heavy user of Mathcad and would like to convert over to SMath.

I have the same problem with Ubuntu 16.04 (tried both, SMathStudioDesktop.0_98_6046.Mono and SMathStudioDesktop.0_98_5997.Mono)

Seems to be resolved on vesion SMathStudioDesktop.0_98_6083 under Ubuntu 14.04 64bit.

Works well in Lubuntu 14.04 32 bit (vers SMathStudioDesktop.0_98_6081.Mono)
