If this has been previously noted, I apologize.

If I open this .sm file from clicking on the file in the directory, it works and reads the
data file; however, if I start Smath and then open the file from Smath it does not read
the file.

Something you are not going correct:
1. Copy the DATA from your download
2. Paste in your Smath file directory
3. close session ... open Smath session
4. address the CWD:=
5 read back

Also, my path is very long and I have had trouble copying the path from the windows folder and pasting into the argument of inputData.

Still does not work for my file structure. Don't think I will change my file structure for this one program.

CWD = Current Working Directory.
1. In your C:\ ... create the SmathFile directory.
2. From your Windows "Download"
3. Copy DATA... 4. Paste in your Smathfile from where you read.

Tip: once you can read [I suggested 'read']
Explode read in expanded vector [read]=
Copy the data in a new assigned vector ...
now you can plot. I played a bit from direct reading
but Smath complained and crashed the work sheet.
That's why you have to isolate the vector,
Then you will play at will with that monkey branching.

Cheers ... Jean

Maybe you don't have an efficient file structure.
In my "SmathFle", all sorts of Smath items:
data sets, formulas, images
I Constantly graze for utilities, models, projects ...
average browsing time among ~ 2000 documents < 15 seconds.

Your data are in the document cw with the plot.
You can inspect down to lower values of X,
but going for too low values it will crash Smath
in the too low values of X around 0.0000XXXXX
Your lowest value is 0.000000000000XXX
At so low values crash. Smath does not plot
at so low values and crash

File READ Txt.sm (13 KiB) downloaded 33 time(s).
