Different issues - Messages

Hello to everybody,
It's a long time that I am not reading this forum, but I have been using Smath a lot (for both, academic and personal works). I like it and constantely I recomend to other people.
During this time, I have detected some issues, and I hope it is possible to solve by way that I could'n find.
1- When I use Calibri font, I can see that whe I define the greek letters f (Ctrl+G) and j (Ctrl+G), then trouble them.
2- Whe I write a new formula, by deffect the background is yello, and then I have to change it to another colour. I preffer a white background by deffect
Finally, I want to know if there is a procedure to calculate Eigenvalues and Eigenvectors from a system, and how to calculate roots from a third order polynomial.
Thank you very much for your time.
Best regards,
JJ

As to the default region attributes (background color):
Set the pointer to the canvas outside a region and set background color to white (which is actually transparent). From then on this setting applies to new cells.
Unintended changes of the default settings may happen if you change the setting without focus on a region.
As to the font: seems to be a local problem, Calibri works with the shortcuts you mentioned. My system is Win 10 in DE locale.

Hi JJ,
I also noted the out of the user's control some canevas features as the fonts size, name and color.
I’m under windows 10.
Unfortunately, the Martin’s solution is not working for me.
I observed that the information concerning fonts is located in the file:
C:\User\username\AppData\Roaming\SMath\settings.inf
My brute force solution is to make “read only” this file.
This solution brings also some unwanted consequences.
I think that the right solution is in Andrey’s hands.
Regards,
Ioan

int((x^3*cos(x/2)+1/2)*sqrt(4-x^2),x,-2,2) is calculating incorrect
