Hello,

first of all I thank you for this amazing program.
I really like it.

Is it possible to distinguish between units and constants?

What I mean is: unit "h" for hour and the constant "h" for Planck constant
or unit "g" for gramms and the constant "g" for gravity.

On the screen the constants could be printed in green colour.

With Best regards
Peter

I am not sure that you can have "h" for hour and "h" for Plank constants. Both variables are regarded as "units" type and they may be involved in the expressions with compatible units. Just pres "e" in the SMath. You will see in the Dynamic Assistance there "e" as Elementary charge (constant with unit) and "e" as natural logarithm base as number. Both have different small icons representing what type they belong to.
I think that at least there might be "hr" representing hour and "h" representing Plank constant provided "h" in different color and icon - but I think they can not have the same name. However, In my opinion there might be an additional complication by introducing this idea of the same name of constants (with units) and units.

Andrey might give you the more precise and correct answer.

Radovan

Hello Radovan,

Thank you for the explanation.

Best Regards,

Btw.: I have tried to use the "Thank"-button, but I have not seen any effect.
