HVAC Constants (IP) - Derive HVAC Constants in SMath - Messages
Looking for suggestions to better improve the maths. I am working on the write up on the side on another Sheet.
I'm having an issue in when it comes to eliminating units, better yet, proving units cancel out. Suggestions on how to better derive and show the process is appreciated.

Hi. SMath convert all numbers to it rational approximation in symbolic outputs. Maybe you can use this trick: put Q*ΔT in units and use numeric evaluation:
Best regards.
Alvaro.

Help with the highlighted please. How do I put the variables into Units? File is updated on my laptop to numeric evaluation.
WroteThe error message reads yellow not defined
And ALVARO had a way around it where his SNIPPET/PICTURE shows what I want

Hi. Just write them: " Q*ΔT*'BTU/'hr " in the unit's placeholder.
I attach the file too.
Best regards.
Alvaro.
Got it. You force the solution (=) side to keep Q and ΔT as variables. I think I tried everything BUT that!WroteHi. Just write them: " Q*ΔT*'BTU/'hr " in the unit's placeholder.
