SMath symbolic solver capability is limited.
These type of formulas can't be solved by numeric solvers.
You will need a plugin, either maple or maxima.
They can be installed via Tools>Plugins.
Maple is compact, easy to use, one click install.
Maxima is more capable but third party installation required.

Just use boolean equal sign for your formula.
Don't forget to change optimization to Symbolic via Right Click menu.

You are a new user, so remind this. Jean has his own agenda.
His intention will not be helping you, just read his replies and go on.
If you can't get what he is saying he is probably giving you wrong answer.
All new users are confused by his meaningless posts.

It should work fine.
If you can't get what you seek, you can post your file for further assistance.
Ask anytime for aid, there will be an experienced user willing to support.
SMath community is kind and helpful. Well, apart from Jean.
