Try the formal procedure before uninstaling Maxima.
The remaining of the work sheet may not work at all.

You have to use maxima takeover as explained here, otherwise disable or uninstall the plugin.

If version(s) past 5346 disable the integration operator,
to me : it is a bug by definition as exemplified earlier.
