Creating a function of a range variable - Newbie to SMath can't figure out what to do with a matrix in a function - Messages

I have looked into vectorizing and tried cross product but I can't figure out how to return a matrix (and eventually a graph) of the function that is a dependent on the variable twall. Any help is appreciated. I'm trying to save money by using this program but it is harder than MathCAD to figure out the errors.

So I was able to do for the example but now I can't remember the keystrokes to get:
twall:="0,1;0,2..1"
The part in quotes is where I'm stuck. When I try to type a comma, nothing happens. I can't type 0 and then a comma or 0 and then a semi-colon. I can only type one period. I'm just missing some simple thing to generate what you show.
I'll keep checking back to my email for this thread. Thanks for reaching out.

Use the range function.
Also remember that based on some options related to the set country, they lead to different use of the comma of the period and the semicolon

File not found.File not found.
I follow your keystrokes but I get error messages for the function I define and for the vectorized function. Any ideas?

Hi Trip. It seems that you are using matrices subscripts instead dot subscript in the variable t. This make that sigma isn't well defined, and thus can't be vectorized. If you upload your file I'm sure that someone can tell you what's wrong.
Best regards.
Alvaro.
