When I do the following, the results are not correct:

You must use the unit of measurement for temperature differences

I understand now what is happening: 300K + 10C -> 300K + 283.15K = 583.15K

Your understanding is correct: the unit of temperature is °K.
Working with unit means consistant system, particularly true
working trig functions.

That freeware "Uconeer 2.4" from Katmar is most precious.

Some smart decided the triple point of water that was 0 °C
is now 0.01°C
