I have a bunch of symbolic equations and I want to write a variable in terms of some others. Can I do that and how?An example:a=b+cc=b+d+aHow to solve for b in terms of d?Answer should be:b=-d/2Or b in terms of a and c?Answer should be:b=a-c #2 Posted: 2/26/2010 6:56:20 PM Radovan Omorjan 325 likes in 2052 posts. Group: Moderator I think you shuld wait until the symbolic "solve" will be implemented as a plugin (from Xcas I suppose). It is not available for desktop configurations yet.Regards,Radovan When Sisyphus climbed to the top of a hill, they said: "Wrong boulder!" #3 Posted: 2/26/2010 8:21:43 PM Saint 0 likes in 2 posts.
