I've noticed that SMath doesn't support symbolic algebra yet.
Here are some links to source code for CAS which might be useful to make plugins.
Mathdotnet (Funded by Microsoft)

Eigenmath

Hello,
Actually, SMath has its own Symbolic engine. It is quite useful but much less featured comparing to some CAS system.
I think that SMath people would be very grateful to the plugin regarding some CAS system. We should wait for someone who is capable and willing to make a dedicated CAS plugin. As far as I know, there are no such efforts yet.
Regards,
Radovan

Hello, FYI I might have found a way to make java libraries available to .NET projects. It could be useful to include the Jasymca's symbolic engine as a plugin for SMath. As far as I know, there are two projects to use java under.NET :
ikvm

jni4net
