Hello, I am just learning Algebra, so I am not a math genius like everyone else here seems to be. So please be kind
First, Thank You! for this great software. It took me some time to figure out that I have to use the arrow keys to navigate through an equation (might want to add that to the documentation), but once I figured that out, it was a real pleasure to use this program.

I have figured out how to graph an equation as a line, but sometimes I have to plot some points first, without a line. Then after I do that, I must draw a line through the points.

Is there some way to plot individual points in a 2D plot?
like a:= (3,4); b:=(6,7)

And is there some way to then draw a line through the two points?
like line1 := line[a,b]

Also, I can graph a linear equation by typing
y := 1/2*x + 10
Then I type "y" in the space below the 2D plot and a line is drawn.

But I cannot figure out how to draw two lines on the same 2D plot.
How do I graph more than one equation on a 2D plot?

Yes, would be a mistake not to take advantage of the generosity of Mr. Urroz, the man who wrote the tutorials. I read through them when I first downloaded SMath Studio, but there were many things I did not understand then. Thank you for suggesting that I reread them.

OK, now I understand how to use "equation systems" in the Functions palette to plot more than one line on a graph.
And I finally understand how to enter ranges. It seems so obvious now...

But I could not find information about:
how to plot a single point.
how to connect two points with a segment, a ray, or a line

This page on Spines seems to hint at an answer,https://smath.com/wiki/splines.ashx , but I am not quite getting it.

Is this not possible? I admit that trying to use Smath Studio for this is like using a jet plane to go to the grocery store, so I understand.
Right now I am using Smath Studio to work out my equations and check my work, and I'm using Geogebra to plot points, connect points, find intersections, and do basic geometry. Going back and forth between programs is working OK, I was just wondering if I could do everything in Smath Studio.

Unfortunately, this part of SMath is not developed enough yet. You can plot only lines or points on the same graph - not both. Also, you can plot a single point only if you choose from the palette "Graph by points". If you choose "Graph by lines" the single points are not visible, only lines (at least two connected points). There is no way to change point size (points are to small) or line color or thicknes. The plot configuration is quite limited. I think, all these things are on the developers "to do" list and I hope we will have these things sooner or later.
