In AC circuit analysis the VA (Volt Ampere) and VAR (Volt Ampere Reactive) are used.

It will be nice to be added.
All are equivalent to Power in dimensions.

It will be nice to be added [W=VAR]. All are equivalent to Power in dimensions.

===============================
Can you provide an example that creates problem not having "VAR" if VAR=W.

Jean,
Currently, I defined the units and use them.
I propose that the VA and VAR become part of the power UNIT.

Jean,
In AC circuit analysis, there are three "kind" of power.
Real, measured in W
Reactive, measured in VAR
and,
Apparent, measured in VA.

This is how it is done.
