Why are some files saved in my snippets folder not available to select shen looking in the tools -> snippet manager ?
Attached is an example of such file.

You must define a snippet shortcut to have a valid snippet, otherwise is just a smath worksheet in the snippet folder.
go to: File > Properties > File Atributes

Your solution works and is better than what I was doing but it is still odd that when you use tools -> Snippet Manager that some files populate while other do not.
