Hi,
I left SM because on ubuntu it didn't work any more (cil winform no more on it)
I would like to see if its better working now with RC3 (the other have same problem)
I run the mono sm but doesen't start, then I run mono sm exe and it works... When loading a file everything is messed, when saving it crashes or says division by zero (for example sqrt(16) = 4 but saving doesn't work
Any help, I tried last ubuntu's 15.04 15.10 and 16.04 same problem.
Meanwhile I installed it on w10 virtualbox and works fine !
Thanks for this good soft hope we can get it back on linux

Cannot reproduce.

Just tested latest SMath Studio 0.98 (RC4) with latest Mono on fresh openSUSE. Everything works fine (complex worksheets, different plug-ins, etc.)

Best regards.

So I decided to jump onto the Linux foray this evening ... first time! Mint 17.3 XFCE on an old VISTA machine. I found instructions on how to install mono online.
Installed version 4.2.3.
I then downloaded the latest version (THANKS Andrey) and "unzipped (tar.gz?)" the the files into a public directory.
I then ran the desktop exe and it fired up! Doing good ...
Then I ran into a problem. I created a shortcut in the same folder where SMath is located and it opens ... BUT, when I move that shortcut to the desktop, nothing.
Again, first Linux experience, total newbie. Did I miss any Linux settings or is it a bug? I honestly think it's me, as the shortcut link works withing the SMath folder.
I'd take a picture, but don't know what "snipping tool" to use
