I am having problems printing this SMath 0.89 file. The page count keeps going and going. Any suggestions?

I think I may have figured out the problem.

I selected font size 12. The equation consistes of a series of if/else if blocks. The size of the equation block won't fit on one page. So when if goes to print it can't find room for it on the page so tries to put it on the next page but still can't and so on and so on.

Hello,

It seems there is a problem with this file. I tried to see the Print preview and to make a PDF from it. In both cases only one page is recognised and some bottom part of the if/else is not recognised to be on the second page and therefore neither recognosed nor printed.
Exporting to HTML or to a picture file will cover all the regions in the file.

Regards,
Radovan

Radovan,

Yes, I can export as HTML okay. Thanks for the tip.

Just a suggestion. Give a control (equation) an attribute to control its printing, just like "Disable Evaluation". That way you will see it on the screen but not in the printout.

I just installed SMath 0.89.8(Beta). The file will print now. Some of the equations are too long to fit on one page. The equation will spill over to the next page but its not printed. The equations are chopped off. A large white space gap appears where the equation would have been.

Just to see what would happen. I put the long equation in an area and collapsed the area. The file prints just fine.
