Hello.

You know how slow I am when a talk is about mobile phones, so...

Want to inform that together with developer of microMathematics Plus (math Android app) Mikhail Kulesh, we decided to perform some work to integrate SMath Studio and microMathematics Plus.

We started from two tasks:
  1. Extend SMath Studio to support microMathematics documents;
  2. Normalize functionality between these two applications.

As a result of our first task we now have https://en.smath.info/view/microMathematicsFiles/summary - plug-in which allows to open files created by microMathematics. Currently it allows to handle almost all equations and some of graphs. We will continue improving it in future.

Second task is more important I believe. And those who tested latest nightly build could notice the following changes in SMath Studio:
  1. Ability to specify vector/matrix elements using vectors as indexes in definition;
  2. Significant figures mode setting introduced;
  3. Square brackets added for range functions.

And also (less visible for end users):
  1. Couple of minor improvements/fixes in SMath Studio were done because of work on integration;
  2. Internally built-in Graphs now supports plots visualization with respect to limits set for axes.

Realy good progress for one week! Isn't it?

Mikhail Kulesh also started to normalize some things in microMathematics Plus: https://github.com/mkulesh/microMathematics/labels/SMath%20Studio%20Integration.

Wait and see assuredly nice. How useful to Design Engineer ?
I dream of Smath implementing the Mathcad 3D matrix style.
It could probably allows the design Engineer to supply the 3D data
to the machine shop from Catmul-Clark ... meshed as fine as desired.
