Hi,

I'm using the excellent Writer Area and wish to spellcheck text within the area. I can open the Writer Area Settings toolbar but all of the spellchecking icons are greyed out. Is there soemthing special I have to do to make spell checking available?

So what's my set up?
Win 10 Home 1903 OS build 18362.476
SMath 0.99 build 7251
I have LibreOffice 6.2.8.2 with Marco A.G. Pinot English 2019.11.01 dictionary.

Here's a screen shot of the Settings Toolbar {the icons are tiny on my screen for some unknown reason}.


I guess there's a simple answer but I'm none the wiser!

Hello,

spellcheck icons are disabled either if you don't have the dictionaries installed or you don't have those for the current region language. Please refer to the documentation attached in the official thread (first post) to see how to install them. Feel free to ask if something is not well explained or something goes wrong.

Thank you for the pointer it has started to help. However, I'm stuck once more. In you documentation page 4 you discuss Global options gained from the toolbar "More" ...

I'm probably being particularly thick today but I don't see a More item on SMath menu bar, or as an item on any menu, and the Writer Region Settings toolbar has no menu at all. Without access to the global options I am unable to import a spell checking file.
