I have tried to calculate this elliptic Integral with MathCAD v15 and SMath.
But I get a Different solution with MathCAD - why? Thanks for help.

Hello Walter,

results are different because you are making another calculation:
  • numerator of the mathcad function is l (lowercase L) while in SMath is 1 (one);
  • upper bound of the integral is e (Euler's number) in mathcad, while is 0.5 in SMath;

Thanks for help.

Always plot the integrand to avoid disaster.
Simpson integrator ranges from exact to absolute scrap.
In doubt, sanity vs Mathcad 11 adaptive.
In your example: watch the low limit.
Alternately, sanity Wolfram Integrator
