how to change unit of a result (vector) - maybe bug or missing feature? - Messages

Hi there,
I know, I can change the unit of a number simply by entering a ' after the result. But with a vector it seems, this doesn't work.
Try to change the unit of the vector col2 to mm - I don't get it:

Does anybody know a way?
The same problem also exists inside a result matrix, where I want to change the unit of a complete column.
Greetings

Hi jabadu,
actually it's not possible to change output units inside an array with miscellaneous units (f.e. in your example ther are 3 length values and a text).

what a pity!
Hmmm, in my special situation it would also work if I could change the global standard unit "lenght" from meters to millimeters. Is this possible? (and if so, how?)

I don't know, but I can suggest you a compromise (see the attachments)

P.S. here there is a little trick to automatize the unit replacingin in the attached script.

Hello w3b5urf3r,
thank you for your hint with the unitless output. I was so into calculation with units that I totaly forgot the old way ;-)
Mixed units inside a matrix would be even better, but this workaround works also.
