Hi,
I use smath on ubuntu but unfortunatly maxima doesn't work, then I was wondering if it can work in the cloud, which would be a good way of using it ?

Sorry no one has replied yet. This probably moved from recent topics pretty quickly. The short answer is no, it does not work in the cloud.

Agree with alyles. You may want to PM mkraska as he tends to lead the way when it comes to the Maxima extension

Probably like Mathcad 12 that never worked except for 2*3=6
It toke at leas a year or + for the reply from Mathsoft
"MCD 12 is only a web version" ... in other words: for the birds !

So far external plug-ins don't work in SMath in the cloud. No image region, no writer region, no custom functions/glyphs...

It should be possible to make the plugin working under linux but I won't have time to do that soon. There is a feature request in the bug tracking system, you might vote for it.

Maybe it is easy (just replace the call to maxima.bat by something more appropriate under linux) but it might well explode (is maxima unicode-proof under linux? and similar issues). A first approach would be to investigate how Maxima is called by wxmaxima under linux...
