I have a few questions about the alignment of characters in math expressions and about the operations.

Visually, in mathematical expressions, sometimes I notice that the operation symbol is slightly offset relative to the center line of the expression.



It is possible and somehow to control the alignment of operators and the operands themselves in expressions?

Most probably it belongs to the operating system ?
The one pixel * is definitively invisible, like implicit.
In Mathcad 8, 11 ... * can be made big dot ● centered.
