Hello, I'm from Chile and I'm using Smath since few days. I've this problem, when I put the symbol with the keyboard for exponential or any symbol, the program closes. I don't know why . If someone know how can I fix this problem, please say me.

What version of SMath are you using? What is your operating system?

You might try to test if you have the same issues using this portable distribution

Another test that you can do is to use the on-screen keyboard, with your keyboard layout and with the english layout and looking if you notice the same problems

Because you work on an unix system, probably there are issues between the mono libraries (at least the version that you are using - what is? is the last version?) and the new way to handle the keyboard inputs introduced by Andrey recently; would be useful to know if some other unix user has your same issues

I don't know what version of mono I have (how can I know?). A guy sent me a email and he said that the Smath works fine in his Ubuntu, but with the version 14 of Ubuntu. I hope if someone use the Ubuntu 13.10 and happens the same, leave a message here.
