Hi All

having defined some parameters let's say with the unit of Mpa I noticed that the final results are given in Pa (Pascals) and I can not change it or I don't know how to change or preset to force Smath to give me the results in Mpa. Any ideas ?

It's not changing them "arbitrarily", it uses base SI units. There's no preset currently (except for currently unsupported direct-edit way to choose imperial units). But you may put cursor to the trailing placeholder in an expression and put the desired units there.

The default unit is Pa. Divide your result MPa User.gif add user unit

Evaluating an expression that contain units, the output will be delivered with the default units (SI base units); to change the output unit, write your favorite unit in the right placeholder.

None of this works for me. I need to change 'Pa into 'kWh/'m^3 (energy density) but trying to insert my units into the trailing placeholder just produces a mess of other units. Sometimes the actual calculation gets messed up too!

Hello Bill,

this is because kWh doesn't exists in the built-in units; you have to use 'kW*'hr/'m^3 or define your own unit somewhere in the worksheet (see the attachment)

kWh (cloud)
