Hello colleges,

recently I started working with smath^1, but ploting the results of an equation with physical units did not work.
What do I have todo to solve an equation as for example:

M(x):{q*l*x}-({q*x^2}/2)

q:=kN/m
l:=m
x:=m

Secondly I would like to know if i could add units to the axis of the plot?
Based on your answers I would add or make a wiki page.

Looking forward to your suggestions

Hello bender,

The plot is drawn, but not in the scale you expect. Everything is converted in base units (mm -> m, kN -> N, etc...) so you have to adjust the input (look at the screenshot)

The last graph is made using X-Y Plot Region by uni, You can find the plugin in the Extensions Manager (Tools -> Plugins -> switch Local Storage to Online Gallery)

edit: added "Units" section in the Graphs' wiki page.
