For Loop 3-term keys to enter - How to get double dot - Messages
#1 Posted: 5/8/2014 10:42:17 PM
I keep forgetting this so I needed to make a thread.
I'm so used to using the 4-term for loop I forgot how to use the 3-term for loop.
How do you get the double dots to show? What keys are pushed?
Sorry/thanks.

type range on the canvas; the dynamic assistance will show you 2 functions:
- range(2) -> [math eng]range(#,#)[/math]
- range(3) -> [math eng]range(#,#,#)[/math]
The number after the function name is the number of the input arguments.

I guess that nearly every new user has wasted considerable time to find out how to do this. You might vote for feature request SS-122 in order to give this some priority. Unfortunately, the function panel seems to be not only out of maintenance but even degrading (see issue SS-121, this used to be better in the past).
