Database_ArcelorMittal.xlsx (471 KiB) downloaded 53 time(s).
I downloaded arcelormittal's table of steel sections parameters. It contains in first column a name of section (e.g HE 200 and in next columns other numerous parameters like dimensions of flange, web, radius in between, area, inertia moments, second moment of area, radius of gyration ... I would like to make smath calculation where in input parameters i would enter a name of a section and in next step to define variables h=, b=, A=, Iy=, Iz= ... parameters of steel section which would read their values from xls table that is in the same row like a name that i previously entered. I guess it could be done because i made the same sheet in mathcad. Does anyone knows how?

You could create a resident Smath document of that Excel steel properties.
c/w a header, via a for-loop, same as Mathcad.
