Hello John, as promised.
1. Data set 1 from Mathsoft Collaboratory, unrecorded Originator
2. Data set 2 from secret application [Art was in the Medical Domain]
3. Smath/Win 7 does not plot the Mathcad ?
I guess it's my Win 7 Junior model. Some collab may want to check.
John, you dressed the ladder ... now I care you climbing.
Many of my relatives visited Australia, bu Jean ... too old kookoo.
Cheers from up there ... Jean.

Thank you Jean! Very helpful and thank you for teaching me

You said you have Mathcad 15, there is a most useful piece of code
about rational fit to noisy data. You may still find in the PTC.
I called Genfit Matrix or GenfitMatrix. It is based on Mathsoft
genfit(vx,vy,vg,F). It was tested vs other software at the time
of developing the DAEP [Data Analysis Extension Pack].
If you can't find, I can make images of the code.
My Mathcad 11 is not connected to Internet anymore for last 6 years.
GenfitMatrix auto initializes itself, only Num/Den order.
Rational fit is most useful for data that may not have model function.
Cheers as usual ... Jean

Yes Jean, i have Mathcad 15. Unfortunately the harddrive has just become corrupted, so will see if I can rescue the software. Had terrible time last time to get the software to work again, needed lots of help from PTC at the time, they are not doing this anymore.
But years ago, when the Mathsoft collaboratory used to work, I downloaded quite a few files. I will try to drive these Mathcad files with Smath, that will be a good challenge for me. I i will share anything I think may be useful.

Know some people that had a delightful time in Canada. Looks like I won't be able to see your great country now. Yes Australia, wide expanses of desert, nothing to see for miles. The Japanese used to love to see this because it was so different to their country. As far as Australian animals go, i did see a platypus in the wild, and have seen koalas in the trees just a few streets from mine.

You are not an old kookoo, you are a vibrant man grabbing every ounce of life out of every day, I applaud you. PS: I had a ginger beer for you today
