I could not find in the forum how to change Smath Studio from 64 bits to 32 bits.
What is the procedure to do it, since several plugins do not run in 64 bits?

Check out this post. https://en.smath.info/forum/yaf_postsm12501_Mathcad-EFI.aspx#post12501

I believe you need the corflags download provided by uni.

Edit: The specific post you need is about half way down the page. One post shows the command and the other provides the files.

How to get this 32-bit version (MSVS2010):

CorFlags /32bit+ SMathStudio_Desktop.exe

Thanks Carlos for your pertinent remark 32/64 bits.
What is the use of 64 bits, particularly wrt plugins ?
bits and bits are confusing ... explain:

My Windows version of Kalkulator 1995 2.27 is 32 bits.
its gives me ln(2) => 0.639147180559945309
same as Mathcad 18 floating.

Remember that all common math functions are 21 floating points.
Windows retains only 15 displayed to take care of error propagation.

On the other hand: what is the point of 64 bits if public math functions
are on base 21 floating points from 32 bits ?

Jean, I do not understand either, since the standard version of Smath studio is 64 bits,
and is constantly being updated to improve it, but the plugins do not follow that
same rhythm of updating, resulting in many functions not working properly.

Thank you very much Alyles for your answer, now I have Smath Studio in 32 bits,
but even so I can not follow the example of Jean called "Page1 Randomize Matrix.sm",
it gives me the error "Random () Function is not defined

Carlos,

Do you have the statistical tools plugin installed?

That is required for the Random(2) function.

Carlos, could you try if the problem persits even in a portable distribution? (here the one shared by Martin Kraska, here instructions to make one by yourself)

Davide, previously had already checked with the portable
distribution of Martin Kraska and the file runs without
any problem, recognizing the statistical functions.
As the portable distribution is 32 bits, I thought that
the problem was that Smath Studio to 64 bits, did not
recognize the statistical tools plugin

Too many Beta versions.
Update bugs from Stable versions is more appropriate [IMHO].
Maybe good idea to evaporate your latest Beta and re-install 6179.
Since 6179 was published stable, no bugs found.
This morning, just discovered bug in Formatted Label [6484].

Beta testing needs to run a large collection.
My *.sm collection is now very large and would take > one week,
and she is only maths [NO Combobox, Checkbox, Modeller, Snapshot ...]

That was just out of mind.

From your screenshot seems that the plgin is recognized (green in loaded plugins) but the functions are not loaded for some reasons. I have recompiled the plugin for the latest SS beta, please try if this works for you (plugin recompiled as beta too).

Hello Davide

The plugin has a very strange behavior.
I deleted the current plugin and loaded the updated, ran the file and executed perfectly.
I closed smath studio and reopened it, ran the file again, and the statistical functions were not recognized again.

Delete does not do what you expect. You must evaporate
"evaporate" is my word to make understand what it has to do.
What you have to do may depend upon Win Registry.
Smath has only two Registry entries that can be rocognized
maybe there are more. My understanding is that Delete does not
act in the Win Registry, that's why on re-opening, it takes
back the previous Registry.
When installing Mathcad 11, we had to "evaporate" any/all
Mathcad/Mathsoft in all Registry Keys.

Evaporate did doctor 100's +++ new MCD 11 users.

On the other hand the matrix size is too huge for 6179.
Alternately, it turns the work sheet blank, open new sheet, go back.
Instead of turning blank, it may just reply Random(,,) Not defined.

On the other hand, the new Smath 64 bits may not be be compatible to
the maybe 32 bits Statistical plugin. If so, real disaster ...
it would turn red ~ 3 dozens documents from my collection [suicide case].

Added: a refreshed version.
