Snippets cannot be saved in an arbitrary folder and later moved to the correct location.

Correct locations:
/AppData/Local/Programs/SMath Studio/snippets
OR
/AppData/Roaming/SMath/extensions/snippets
OR (if installed for all users)
/Programs/SMath Studio/snippets

If a snippet has to be made from an existing file, generate a new file, copy the relevant parts, edit the file properties and save it directly in the correct location. A simple copy of a file to the correct location is not working.
