I can't install SMath Studio 0.97.5890 or 0.97.5329 in Windows 10 x 64 bits. I got message: This app can't run on your PC. To find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher. Can someone help me? Thank you

Looks weird because many Smath users have W10.
It might be a Smath installer problem because
Smath is 32 bits. Don't know why exactly ?
Maybe because of many built-in functions
running only on the 32 "bits order".
If you ever had games in the machine, bad luck.
Some applications conflict with others.
Can't help.

SMath Studio supports Windows 10. The error message you see can be shown by the system in case of setup package is corrupted. Meaning you downloaded broken version or, f.e. it was broken by virus on your PC or if for some reasons you downloaded only part of the file.

It is very easy to check this. Check Properties of SMathStudioDesktop.0_97_5890.Setup.msi file you have downloaded (using context menu) and check digital signature of this file like shown on the screenshot:
digital_signature_1.png
This is 100% guarantee that the file you have is the same as available on the official web-site.

Please let me know if it did help or not.

SMath Studio is not 32 bit app. Yes, it is installing into "Program Files (x86)" folder but the app itself natively supports both 32- and 64-bit CPU architecture.

Best regards.

Hello, Ivashov

Congratulations for SMath. It's a great program !

I install .Net Framework 3.5; then I downloaded "SMathStudioDesktop.0_97_5890.Setup (1).msi" and again I got same Windows message.

I check Digital Signatures is correct but I can't see more details like your second image. See below:

Do you have another ideia about this problem ? If I have some virus in my system, is it necessary another way to I download Setup ?

Best regards.

A google survey show that this issue may be related to several causes... the first-one the corrupted file because the download (obviously); also a corrupted user profile in windows - in this case you may try to create another profile with same privileges and check if the problem persists (Fix a corrupted user profile); a third case seems an upgrade from a 32 bit OS (here)

For what it worths:
1. Evaporate what you have downloaded
2. Disable your Anti-virus [always the case when you download executable software]
3. Try to run, shut PC, reinstall AV, shut again, restart.

I trust you Andrey, saying 64 bits extended floating point.
Why do I get so much granularity on my test function ?
XP Home is 64, XP Pro is 32, easy to test with Mathcad 11
not solving some difficult stuff on XP Pro.

Not surprised some Smath user have problem installing,
How many new Mathcader couldn't install: countless !
