I am having an issue with typing certain texts in an english " textbox. For instance, I type
Quote

"3ply 1-3/4 x 9 1/2 LVL

and once I get to the 3/4 part, it seems to switch the input into a math input. How can I keep it as a text input and not something to be evaluated?

Thank you!

Is there a hotkey to switch to equation, since I have now disabled automatic switching? To start a text box it is ", but is there a symbol to start a math box?

Greetings,

While you are inside a text region, you can insert a math region with the keypress: [ALT] + [=].

After you finish typing your math, keypress [Enter ⏎] to exit the math region and return the cursor to 'typing text mode' (while still within text region).

May this be of Good Help;
