This demo is constructed by parts. As it looks, only Mathcad 8/11
[other versions: don't know ?] supports the plotting convolviing
argument in the X/Y plot.

same using cases() + symbolic optimization

(still needs the annoying eval() for the integration)

Thanks Davide,

Works well with the uninstalled 5346.
The installed version does not have your "cases" from f(x) menu.
1/1 Mathcad, very elegant and neat.

Thank you for your examples Jean, hope to see even more in future (even from other users).

Probably "Custom Functions" plugin is missing in the new version.

Apparently, there are a couple of hidden changes in the symbolic engine (both to investigate carefully )

- the first change involves the transit carrier (fixes in red boxes);
- the second change involves the definition of a function using the function itself in the RHS (fixes in purple boxes; 99% s bug, the function is defined in the dynamic assistant but cannot be evaluated - "function is not defined" exception bug reported as SS-2335);

FIX attached, works with both the versions (0.97 & 0.98)

Hello,

The simplicity of the previous version has become complicated.
but does not work. Any ideas?

Ndtma, Sergio, Basile: the above explanation concerns your 5953.
It may also suffer the same logical link bug as 5346 ... like this again.
There are two versions of 5346: the installed version and the NON-installed versions.
Both have substantial differences in what the plugin manager links or does not link
wrt the f(x) menu. For instances: the installed version does link to the Matlab functions
mwxxxxx, the UN-installed version DOES NOT link mwxxx Matlab library, but does link Davide plugin for module 'cases'.

The installed 5346 DOES NOT link Davide plugin 'cases', does not link +++ stuff ...
Levenberg-Marquardt just to cite one.

All what I'm talking about is XP Home SP3. Something else to explore with other WIN OS.
Read again and again what I wrote, up until the brain responds. I know what what I'm
talking about, proof:

Works/does not work is not enough for designers. Prove your assertion(s).
